This fire which is burning west of Missoula is still not contained. It has swept through housing development and closed a major highway. This fire came within 150 feet our new house. We may not have lost our house, but others did. They say this fire has been smodering for a least threes before ligniting into the monster fire which firefighters struggle to get contained. The fear of losing your house and irreplacable items which are in your home is very scary. Has anyone come close to losing their house or have lost thei9r house due to fire. Please share that experience with us. we would love to hear about it.

The Mountains are Burning

Being evacuated from you home is an unsettling feeling. You constantly worry about your house, your personal belongings, and the things that cannot be replaced. We have fire that is burning to close to our house. We live at mile marker 119 in Clinton, and the fire is at mile marker 124. this fire has cause concerned for the residents of this area including us. The smoke is unbearable. The national guard are hear to help with efforts, but with each passing day more and more people are being evacatuated because fire is not contained and burning out of control. I'm hoping that the fire become managable some and we can return to our homes safely.

Shopping for the best and latest camping equipment can sometimes be very overwhelming. Between comparing prices and to comparing brand names, everything can get so confusing as to what to purchase. There are many companies that offer camping equipment and camping gear, and there are other companies that specialize in camping equipment and camping gear. The vendors who carry camping equipment and gear who do not specialize in camping goods tend to sell the same products for less. Those who specialize in camping equipment and gear tend to charge more. Why do they charge more? Who is to say their camping equipment and gear is better. What do you think about companies who specialize verus companies that do not specialize?

Camping Hot Spots

There is an excellent place in Montana to camp. This place is known as Rock Creek it is about 30 minutes from Missoula, MT. It is where they hold the annual testible festible. This place makes you feel like you are in wild wilderness. It has awesome wild life such as mousse, deer, elk, etc. that are visible every where. The campsites are not close to each other. They have a good quarter acre or more between them. There is awesome fishing in the river. Plus, this place is not croud with visits other than when the annual testible festible is going on. This is a must place to see. If you have already visited Rock Creek, please let us know your thoughts.

Campfire cooking produces the most awesome dishes. There are many sites that offer different recipes for cooking outdoors. My favorite type of cooking os dutch oven cooking.
